Dear Friend of Farm Animals,
On April 22, I will be running the Mendocino Coast 50K ultra-marathon to support Farm Sanctuary and demonstrate that a vegan diet allows us to thrive and compete in endurance events. The Mendocino Coast 50K is one of only two all-vegan ultra-marathons in North America.
I am using this event to raise funds for Farm Sanctuary’s lifesaving rescue, advocacy, and education programs, and I hope you’ll join me in this endeavor by pledging $1, $2, $3 or more per kilometer, or making a donation of whatever amount you can. With your support, we can make a powerful difference for farm animals everywhere!
To thank you for your crucial support, all who pledge are invited to join me at the legendary Stanford Inn for a Meet & Greet on Friday, April 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. This event is hosted by Stanford Inn co-owner Jeff Stanford and Mendocino Coast 50k race director, author, podcaster, and YouTube personality Sid Garza-Hillman. Guests will enjoy an intimate gathering featuring complimentary light appetizers from the Stanford Inn’s renowned restaurant The Ravens; drinks will be available for purchase.
Guests can also purchase my books Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food and Living the Farm Sanctuary Life: The Ultimate Guide to Eating Mindfully, Living Longer, and Feeling Better Every Day at the Stanford Inn or bring their personal copy for a book signing during the event.
The Stanford Inn is located at 44850 Comptche Ukiah Road (at the corner of Highway One and Comptche Ukiah road in Mendocino, CA). Space is limited and reservations are required. Please RSVP by April 17 by calling the Stanford Inn at (707) 937-5615 to reserve your space.
Those who are unable to make the event in person can watch a livestream on Facebook or catch my upcoming appearance on Garza-Hillman’s Approaching the Natural podcast. As always, I’m so grateful for your support in the important work of protecting farm animals and promoting compassionate living. Together, we can create a kinder world!
Yours for farm animals,
President & Co-founder
P.S. Why not make a weekend of it? After the Meet & Greet, enjoy dinner on your own at The Ravens and stay the night at the Inn — and maybe I will see you along the route on Saturday!
